Airlert combines official flight data from third-party providers with crowdsourced observations from travelers. This page credits the data sources and services that power the app.

Airlert is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the providers listed below.

Flight data

Official flight information — including schedules, departure and arrival times, status updates, gate assignments, and aircraft details — is sourced from FlightAware via their AeroAPI service.

Airport & airspace status

Information about ground stops, ground delay programs, airport closures, and other airspace constraints may be sourced from the FAA National Airspace System Status (NAS).

FAA data is in the public domain. Airlert is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Traveler observations

Crowdsourced updates posted within Airlert are submitted by individual travelers and represent personal observations only. These updates are unverified and should not be relied upon as official information.
